Stunning & unique apt in Culross

The design 😍

Beautifully presented apartment, with a charming querkiness, in a great location. We enjoyed excellent communication from the owner and were greeted by some lovely welcome touches. The apartment was spotless on arrival.

We can’t find fault with this lovely escape, even though Santa apparently gained access via a Velux window in lieu of a chimney breast :-)

No breakfast but a very nice welcome box. The apartment was very well furnished with plenty of extras. It was comfortable.

It was a freezing cold weekend with snow and ice. The apartment was cold when we arrived and took 24 hours to warm up. There was no heating in the bathroom which remained cold all weekend. We contacted the owner on the Saturday morning to ask about the heating in the bathroom and she said the heater was broken she would try and get an electrician but did not manage this. We were attending a special event so the bathroom was important in getting ready. She knew it was broken and it was forecasted to be a very cold weekend well in advance.

Decor is class

Little bit cold

Very beautiful and cleverly designed space. So many holiday lets look good for photos but lack soul, but this one was genuinely quirky and had a lot of thoughtful touches. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and Culross has beautiful cobbled streets and lots of history. Host had good communication and was very helpful. Two very tired Mum's really appreciated the peace and tranquility of our stay. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment in a nice quiet town with everything required for our stay. The host, Julie, was great too providing some nice touches throughout including a basket of snacks which was much appreciated after a long drive.

Nothing wrong with anything.

Beautiful, quiet, clean, easy walk to cafes, palace. Highly impressed with everything! I come over often from the US. I have found my favorite place to stay.

Not a thing

Location was great - Culross is a lovely place to stay, visit and explore so this property was perfect. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and very modern. Instructions from the host were spot on too.

Parts of the bathroom were probably a little impractical for long-term use - you could see through the door into the bathroom and difficult to brush teeth/wash face in the sink without banging head when leaning over the sink. We would have also liked a welcome folder - how things work, nearby attractions, history of the property, etc. I also couldn't get the tv in the bedroom to work. However, these things didn't detract from our stay.

We had a nice welcome package, communication was easy. All was clean and well decorated.

The bed is small and quirky, the bathroom is not really practical, the automatic light in the bathroom is not nice
