Frank´s Ferienwohnung in Dresden

Fantastic accommodation in an ideal location. It was very well furnished and spotlessly clean with 2 separate bedrooms, 2 living areas, each with a large smart TV (with streaming services), a well equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom. We loved the layout of the apartment as it gave us and our teenagers privacy and space. The wifi was very fast. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We loved the place. It had everything we needed. We could not have asked for more. The host, Frank, was amazing. A genuinely nice guy. He was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to provide a great stay for his guests. He spoke excellent English and communicated really well. He very cheerfully picked us up from the train station, took us to the apartment to rest after our long train journey, and then took us to the only supermarket that was open as it was a Sunday. Frank even drove us around to various places on several occasions. He did this with much happiness and not wanting anything in return. The accommodation has a very diverse and natural garden. It’s in a very quiet area and less than a 10 minute walk to the tram stop (No.9),which takes around 12 minutes to the town centre. We enjoyed walking along the Elbe River to some great restaurants. This was a short walk from the apartment. We even enjoyed the amazing New Year’s Eve fireworks from the bridge which was only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Our family loved every minute of it and will definitely return.

There was nothing we did not like. We just did not like leaving, and will book for longer next time.
