We have arrived on the 28th July 2025 at 6pm , I was on my honeymoon with my wife , godparents and their 5 year old son. After a few hours we realized there was no running water at all. We called the host and told us that he is aware there is no water (without mentioning it beforehand). We said we need running water , 5 persons with one not working toilet , no way to shower or anything. He could at least put some water bottles or something as he was aware of this issue. He said we will talk in the morning next day , I texted him at 9am , no reply although he saw the message so we booked another place to stay on the 29th. He replied 12 hours later , at 9:30 pm that the issue was fixed when we were already checked out. We have also talked to some of the neighbors on the first night and they said that for the past 3 years almost daily there is lack of running water and that many guests come for a longer stay but leave after the first night. I have contacted booking.com and talked to 3 booking agents , sent 5 emails with the proof of my conversations with the owner and the video of no running water. Booking called the host and the host said that "the issue was only for a FEW hours" and that he offered a solution which is a complete lie. He also said that he will not refund anything and told me that his accommodation is "different" , yeah maybe different by having no water. Booking believes the owner by only his word and not us who have clear evidence that the owner is lying. So this means anyone can rent a place , make it non refundable and then they say a lie and gets to keep the money. We have paid a little over 1300 EUROS for 5 nights and we want our full refund as the host clearly knew about the lack of water without mentioning it , he lied to booking and to us and I have all the proof necessary to show that he is lying. Worst experience of travel I ever had and I travel all over the world for work. WORST HOST I HAD EVER HAD MET !!!
