The host was rude and terribly unhelpful.

The position is very useful to join the main important sites. The host is very kind.

The room was spacious, the bed and the bathroom comfortable and the kitchen well equiped for preparing a meal. The location was excellent, very close to the main points of interest in Ferrara, close to a central bus stop for taking a bus to the train station , but still a safe and quiet area. There were also a bakery, a super market, a famous gelateria and some restaurants nearby. I would say that the location, the relatively low price and the size of the apartement are its main advantages.

The main negative point which made our stay a lot harder was the fact that there was no internet connection at our room for almost all the 3 days we spent there (with an exception of some particular hours during the third day). That wouldn't be a problem normally, but our room was also in the ground floor and there was no phone service (our company works pretty well in every other place we visited in Ferrara). As a result, we couldn't use our data and we had to exit the apartement in the middle of the night to search for train timetables, attractions and to plan our next day. We informed the owner about the problem at 8 pm on the first day and we expected that he would check it on the same day, as having an internet connection was crucial for us, but he said he would check it on the next day, which was a bit surprising for us. And even when he checked, the problem wasn't solved. I don't know it it was an unfortunate event, as I haven't read any other comments complaining about the internet, but it is the first time I visit a hotel for 3 days and I have no data and no Wi-fi in the room.

--Once inside, the person was very kind. He helped me with my suitcase go up one flight of stairs. --The apartment was attractive and almost everything (see below) was very clean and in good working order. --I loved that the kitchen had a microwave--so very helpful. --The espresso maker and the electric tea kettle were very nice amenities too. --The location was very good--close to shops; restaurants and the central ancient sites and museums --On the last day of my trip, the manager allowed me to keep my bags at the office after checkout so I could spend more time in the town. --The manager called a taxi for me and this was so helpful.

--When I arrived at the door and rang the bell, no one answered. I waited a while and tried again--but no one answered. Then I decided to call--this was an expense to me and I didn't want to do it. Finally someone answered the phone call and let me in. --The bathroom is not "en-suite." It is separated from the bedroom by the kitchen. This is, in my opinion, as odd arrangement and not entirely convenient. --I understand that Europe must carefully consider energy expenses at this time. But the thermostat was locked at 19.4 degrees--and for me this setting made the apartment uncomfortable. --Some of the plates had not been properly cleaned.
