Sun and Sea II

I couldn’t ask for more. The apartment is perfect for your holiday in Madeira. It has everything you need, close to the bus stop. Private parking if you rent a car. Very good size. The view is beautiful. Definitely recommend and if I’m coming back to Madeira I will stay here again for sure. I want to thank you the landlord for helping me renting a car, that was definitely a very good idea. Who says you don’t need a car to explore the island is wrong.

Very clean and modern apartment with good location, you can walk to the beach promenade and couple of nice restaurants. Supermarket is on the same building which was very comfortable. Parking place in garage.

The arrival - first we had some problems to find the right place as google maps dont send you exactly corect. Also we had troubles to find garage but people are nice there and were very helpful. After we arrived there were two cleaning ladies.. we didnt arrive any sooner but they were still there cleaning the apartment. It took them around an hour.. There was no soap to clean hands after the travel.. so we had to go to the supermarket to buy one (you can only buy big ones so definitelly the cleaning ladies are collecting everything people leave behind). Also no washing powder was in the place. I am curious were it all disappears.. In general the place is nice but the balcony is extremely windy so some days it was not possible to sit there. During weekends it gets quit noisy in the night with the road just under windows. And the bed was one of the less comfortable we have every tried. We must have moved to the living room for sleep. We also had to buy the toilet paper as one spare one for a week is just not enough and the towels could also be more.. Wifi was good but not in the bedroom, only in the livingroom.
