CF10 House - Cardiff City Centre

The house is in a great location for sightseeing in the City and in the Bay. It was tidy and ready for our arrival. A few things (not urgent) that could improve the house would be a blind in the kitchen window as the house is in a residential area. The garden at the back coud be tidied up so as to give the property a feeling that it is cared for.

I have already mentioned what could be improved. There was nothing to dislike about the property as it served our purpose for sight seeing in Cardiff.

Comfortable beds, clean, well-equipped. 1km easy walk into town.

Ideally, I would replace the pillows and the settee, but it is perfectly adequate as a base when visiting family and friends in the locality. We do long haul travel, so we need a bit more comfort and space.

Cosy house. Nice quiet area and ideally situated for the city centre and Utilita arena. Communication with owners was excellent and found them very helpful.

Location is good. Beds comfy. Allowed late check out. Good communication. Netflix available. Good wifi. Soft towels.

The armchair smelled of urine, unable to use. the dishwasher of sewage and washing machine full of black mould. Shower has no pressure. Furnishings cheap and worn. Parking space tiny. See full review in Sunday Woman Magazine

Was as described and clean in a great location for the city centre.

The only suggestion I would make is blackout curtains would be a great addition. This don’t bother us as we were up early and out.

The location between Cardiff Bat and city centre in a very quiet neighbourhood. The house is cosy - perfect for the three of us. Enough towels, linen and toiletries were provided. Property has got toaster, kettle, pots, pans and kitchen utensils including washing up liquid needed to cook family meals. All information needed for a check in were provided prior to the arrival so check-in was seamless. The host was flexible in terms of check out time (we asked beforehand) which allowed us to avoid long waiting time at the railway station. Grocery shop (coop) is close by. Keys to the patio are easy to find in the kitchen. Walk-in shower is very spacious.

Upon arrival the fridge was soaked in bleach. We arrived late and had to wash the inside ourselves to minimise the smell. Some mugs and pots stored in cupboards were dirty. Some kitchen cupboards fronts were sticky. It may be beneficial to have a kitchen paper towel roll, bin bags and more toilet rolls available for guests. Bathroom sink cupboard side needs to be replaced.

Well, what an absolutely fabulous property A**** Accommodation is spot on, the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had at a self catering property, rooms were all very clean and well presented and a very modern appearance. The major selling point for here tho is its location. Short walk to both Cardiff Bay and Cardiff City (really are short walks) so super accessible. Property is located on a very quiet residential street and is almost detached and backs into a lovely little waterway feature just a stones throw away. Having your own off street parking is rather cool too. There’s plenty of small supermarkets within 5 minutes walk, so no problems with getting supplies in.
