In Cascais

This is a good IKEA-style apartment for budget minded travelers who are not looking for frills or luxurious touches. The host is very responsive. Location is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the major hotels, bars and restaurants in the main tourist area.

The bathroom was small. No air-conditioning.

The apartament had everything we needed! Great location, very comfortable and Filipa was incredibly kind and helpful. 100% recommended!!!

The apartment was on the ground floor, very spacious and very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It was also centrally located with a lot of restaurants nearby. The kitchen was equipped with all appliances. The shower in the bathroom was very good and there were free shower gels and shampoo bottles.

It was sometimes very noisy with the people in the apartment above us and also the slamming of the front door made a lot of noise. We only stayed for 4 nights, so not a huge problem. The bed was a little bit too soft for us, but that is of course to you own choice.

Fully equipped. Filipa really thought of everything.

What a wonderful property! We were visiting my sister who lives in Cascais and the apartment couldn't have been more comfy or better situated. We could walk to it from the train station and could easily walk to the center of town. Filipa kindly met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and to explain everything and to give us some good tips on getting about. The appartement is extremely well kitted out and had everything we needed for 3 nights. I'm fussy when it comes to pillows and mattresses but the bed was just so comfy. I'd certainly stay there again.

Our host Filipa allowed us to arrive early to the accommodation and said she would meet us there. The time we gave her would have been spot on but we had to wait for our pre-booked taxi to collect us from Lisbon Airport. Once we arrive Filipa showed us around the apartment and then left us to it. Prior to leaving on Mon 10th I asked Filipa via private message what time would we need to leave and she said we could stay until our taxi arrived which was great, so we didn't leave the apartment until 15:20. The taxi was due to collect us from outside at 15:30 but that never arrived (that's another story which has nothing to do with Filipa's excellent hospitality).

I can't say there was anything to dislike to be honest. Everything was very good and clean about the apartment. I could have done with an oven as well for cooking but managed to cope with two electric plates instead (it's remarkable what one can do with just two cooking plates!).
