Great apartment in great position. Had a few minor issues but sorted quickly. Our only suggestion to the property management was the seal the base of the glass partition of the shower so it doesn't flood the bathroom when you shower. Definitely something staying again.

The apartment is great an in the best location possible. We enjoyed the apt. itself, it's well equipped and comfortable. But.......not the building.

Yes, the apt. is handicapped friendly but not one for a person in a wheelchair or has mobility problems because of entering/leaving the building. One in a wheelchair would have to go to the garage downstairs, go up a little incline and with a control activate the garage doors to open. For someone in a wheeler they would need someone with them to help them exit the building via two sets of steps leaving the building. I had to fold up the wheeler and my partner had to go down the steps holding onto the railing in the middle. I won't recommend an elderly couple staying here but YES if you don't have any of these problems.Presently, one should be advised Funchal is not handicapped friendly but is on it's way to being so with new construction.

Miguel was in touch from the minute we booked. He got in touch a few days before we arrived with lots of helpful recommendations of where to eat and food shop. He met us at the apartment and took us through everything we needed to know about how thing worked, he made checking in a absolute delight and we would not hesitate to use this apartment again because of him. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook full meals, and I made good use of it, shopping at the market for fresh fish every other day. The beds were really comfortable and no traffic noise with the doors closed. There is air conditioning, which we didn't need, and ceiling fans too. The balcony was the perfect place to have breakfast and watch the ships, it is sunny all day, perfect. The shower had excellent water pressure too. Don't worry about not having enough hangers, there are plenty, which goes to show how Miguel has thought of everything.

We liked everything

The location is in the centre of Funchal, close to all amenities. The lounge is very bright and spacious with huge terraces. The views from the terrace are beautiful

The bathroom could do with updating

Located in the middle of Funchal so everything in the city was in walking distance. Apartment was modern, clean and had everything you need for a short stay. We had a private parking spot on the basement floor of the property which was very convenient! The staff was also very helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay !

We didn’t have hot water for few days which meant ice cold showers. But this got fixed within few days
