There are two bathrooms, each with its own toilet. You can have a good view from the rooftop balcony. There is a table and chairs provided where you can have a meal on the rooftop and enjoy the view.

The four long flights of stairs to reach the apartment. Certainly not a place for the less mobile.

The apartment is in a wonderful location, with lots of excellent bars and restaurants nearby. It's is a short walk to the tour bus for trips to Etna, Taormina, and Siracuse, etc. The views are beautiful, and on a clear day, you can see Mt Etna from the roof terrace. The owner, Paolo, is lovely and very helpful.

You need to be fairly fit as there are over 80 steps up to the apartment, and currently, no lift. Don't take a huge suitcase!

The location is ideal, offering convenient and easy access to all key destinations.

The apartment had several issues that made our stay less comfortable. We experienced frequent power outages despite no unusual electrical load. The bathroom was not hygienic, with drainage problems that caused water to pool during showers. Despite being an apartment, it lacked basic amenities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, and sufficient towels. This setup doesn’t seem suitable for a family stay, as it combines neither the advantages of an apartment nor the conveniences of a hotel, such as daily cleaning. On the positive side, the host was responsive and addressed our concerns promptly when contacted. However, the check-in process was stressful, as the host requested an additional payment, which was eventually resolved but caused unnecessary worry.

The location & views were amazing. A well serviced apartment. Plenty of kitchen facilities also.

Great location we were able to walk to everything including the beach club. The terrace is very large and has excellent views all around. Perfect for a late afternoon drink before heading out to the many local restaurants. The host was great and very informative.

We loved this place. The apartment is huge and has a very tasteful decor. The views are amazing and we didn't miss anything. The seperated bedroom (incl. seperate bathroom) on the second floor was especially appreciated and offers lots of privacy if you are traveling with family or friends as we did. Paolo was an excellent host and messaged us about recommendations and when trash was being collected. Location couldn't be better. You're only steps away from the middle of everything. In fact, best thing about our time in Catania was the apartment.

Note that one bedroom comes without air condition. Also lots of action on the streets, especially in summer time and on weekends, but no big deal with windows closed and ear plugs.
