Attico in pieno centro storico di Catania

Very good location (10 min walk to the city center), amazing view from the roof top, well equiped facilities. AC is in all rooms. The host is very helpful, I only can recommand.

The door locks were temperamental and took some patience. The electrical supply cause us 1 problem but quickly fixed by the fast response from the host.

The apartment is really nicely decorated with a spacious fully equipped kitchen, as well as a nice terrace. Each sleeping room has it's own bathroom, which makes it really convenient. You can easily call it a triplex, with an impressive view over Catania and Etna.

You will need to climb up few floors in order to get to the apartment, as well as within the apartment, so it's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Actually, everything was perfect! The view is to die for. Omg!!! This is THE place to stay when you're in Catania. Coffee was wonderful.

Although we should have asked in advance, the fact that the main room was on the seventh floor without a lift came as a bit of a shock and meant that it was perhaps suitable for fit young people but not for an ageing and rather unfit couple. The lack of an armchair or other such indoor seating made it difficult to relax, read or watch television, especially on long January evenings. There were problems with the hot water supply: the shower always switched from hot to cold for around two minutes into a shower; the water tap in the kitchen was almost impossible to regulate and nearly always hot.

The host met us at the front door and gave is a tour of the house. He told us about the history of the city and on good places to visit. Real care and attention given to our stay. The place was fantastic to stay in, clean and comfortable. the upstairs room/kitchen with balcony was fantastic, the beds comfortable, the rooms spacious and nicely designed. A great location also for the centre of the Catania - a five minute walk to the Duomo and cultural area.

Very clean and well equiped apartment. You have to be aware that if you want great view and dont want to hear street noise seating on the tarace you need to be at 3rd or 4th floor. Apartment has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, each bedroom on separate floor which gives privacy even in your travel tem. The kitchen and tarace is one floor up giving you amazing Etna and sea view. You can see Etna from each bedroom as well. Last but not least Salvo is very helpful host, he gave us a lot of info including restaurant recommendation ("Zia Tanina" serve great grilled horse meat and salsicia). Thank you Salvo for really nice stay :)
