Everything was perfect, exactly like the photos. Also a parking place with the apartment. The owner is in contact for everything you need and is very polite 😁. I strongly recommend 👌

The place is very high-end. Daniel seems to have bought the best of everything. The washer/dryer combo was a godsend for us bike tourists. Normally, you only get a washer and have to hang your clothes to dry. This machine does both. Plus, he’s got a very fancy air conditioner that, when not on, looks like a painting. When it comes in, it tilts to reveal the vents. The murphy bed was very, very comfortable and so were the sheets and pillows. Any sunlight was indirect, so you could sleep late in the morning. It was also quiet. I would rate this place a 9.5 with a deduction for the location (i.e., neighbors), but Booking.com doesn’t allow for fractional ratings.

Since Daniel keeps the place in tip-top shape, I won’t ding him for this and consider it a one off incident. I only mention it because it may help a future guest. What happened was that the toilet didn’t flush due to the tank not filling. But this toilet was not your typical US toilet with a tank, so you couldn’t open the lid and fix it. You also couldn’t use the shower head to fill it fast enough for it flush. Ultimately, we found a large pot in th kitchen to dump into the bowl, and it finally flushed. To Daniel’s credit, he got a plumber out after we left to rectify the plumbing. The real downside of this place is his neighbors. When I arrived, there was no number on the fancy door, so I went up one more flight. To my disgust, in front of one of the doors was a pile of dog feces. I was so glad the unit was not in that floor. However, when we left the following morning, I found another piece outside of his place. He’s literally got $#!++y neighbors.

We like absolutely everything about this apartment. Very comfortable, very clean, has everything you might need: washing machine, great internet connection, a huge tv, large comfortable bed, fridge, cooking equipment. The hosts even provide coffee, sugar, cooking oil, and some drinks in the fridge. This is by far the best place to stay in Giurgiu (we visit Giurgiu at least once a year, and have already stayed here 4-5 times in the last 3 years).
