I rented this place and he asked me to tell the occasion of renting this place. I was driving the whole day and didn’t see message. I arrived to the property around 10pm and when I checked check in information, he didn’t send anything. I called him and he didn’t pick up my call. I had to find another place to stay at 10pm after a long journey drive. I requested a refund and he said I’m the wrong as I didn’t reply his message and he didn’t think I would be arriving after 10pm as last check in time is 9pm. I have never ever heard in my life that last check in time as 9pm. I’ve been to so many countries and been staying in many different accommodations including serviced apartments but first time hearing about last check in exists. If he didn’t want to rent out to me as I didn’t reply, he could just cancelled my booking. He wanted the money for the night but still didn’t send anything regarding check in information.

Very good location for us, as we were visting my daughter whose dorm is very close by.

The pullout sofa was not very comfortable.

This was perfect for us, super easy to get to and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear. The host was kind, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

I noticed some reviews have previously said the apartment is very cold and we certainly found that. It was freezing even with heaters on full which wasn't great as we both have chronic pain conditions. No blankets around for extra warmth. I realise overhauling a heating system isn't easy to do overnight but perhaps heated throws and hot water bottles could be provided in the meantime as a compromise? It's not too handly turning up unaware that you will need these things to stay warm. Other main issue was the very loud construction work going on outside the bedroom. Again I realise you can't control that but it might be nice to warn guests and provide earplugs for sleep. It started at 8am. We'd had a late night as we'd been at a show so it woke me leaving me shattered today. Thought I could heat myself up this morning by having a bath as the apartment has nice hot water. But sadly the plug doesn't seal the plug hole so the water wouldn't fill up. I booked this apartment specially because it has a bath as my current home doesn't. I'd brought bath salts etc with me looking forward to a soak in a bath so that was such a let down. The heater in the loo doesn't work either and I think it would be useful having a bin in the bathroom for sanitary products and a bath matt to step onto after bath/shower. Some hooks on the back of the bathroom door for towels would be useful too. Some of the cookware like the glass casserole dish is very dirty too. And a not very nice or clean looking dish sponge. Curtains on balcony doors all ripped and torn, cushion on couch torn, drawer in tv unit broken (front detached) . No tea towels available for kitchen. Towels seemed clean but coloured towels are never pleasant in holiday homes or hotels as you can't tell if they are clean. White is always better. The key lock box was a bit high off the pavement for me to reach too which was a problem. I'm 5ft 5 so not exactly short.
