Fresh, modern West End apartment beside Hydro

The property was at a great location from what we had planned. The venue was clean and exactly what we needed. Parking was easy and accessible. Highly recommend

No kettle is the only downfall but can’t fault the place at all.

Location is great. It is easy to get in and out of and there are plenty of really good restaurants (Porters and Rye is amazing) nearby. Parking was easy as well.

A couple of the towels were not clean. You need to install a grab bar or something to hold onto when getting into the shower. It is slippery and since the glass is on a hinge it seems like an accident waiting to happen.

I did not stay at the property as the pictures on the Booking.com did not reflect the standard I found there. Also oven was filthy and the drawers in the freezer and the wooden floors. I advised the owner I did not accept his explanation for this.

There was no hot water, we were told after that there was a switch to turn on the hot water but not knowing this we were forced to have cold showers as we were in a rush to leave early in the morning.

Location was OK. Owner was good at communication.

I chose this property because it said there was a free car park and I saw a picture of bath, not just shower. But free car park was a lie. The owner did not provide parking permit and the street parking costed £3.20 per hour and was limited to 3 hours from 8am to 6pm!!! So we had to keep putting coins and moving our car around during the days. Also, there was a bath but there was NO HOT WATER! The second day we waited the plumber to come and finish his work until early afternoon to make sure we have hot water. The boiler was fixed but then broken again next day!!! Because we don't have bath at home and taking a bath was one of our major purposes this ruined our family holiday!

location was very good, a supermarket just across the road. It was within walking distance to the hydro, access to property was quick and the host was instantly contactable for any questions.

Liked apartment, only two very small things, couch was very low to sit on (only because sister has a bad back so it not great for her) and the socket the heater was plugged into was loose and coming off wall so wee bit cautious about using the switch.

Fantastic value for money, would 100% recommended for the arena. Host is very helpful.
