Elder Park Apartments

After the small hiccups at the start, our stay was really lovely. The property was clean, comfortable, and felt homely once we settled in. The maintenance man was quick to help and very friendly. The TV with Netflix and Prime was great for evenings, and it was fully equipped with all the essentials like toilet roll, bin bags, and washing liquids — which was a nice touch.

The check-in instructions were only sent about an hour before arrival, which could be tricky after a long drive if you don’t have internet access. The heating also wasn’t working at first, but it was quickly sorted by a very friendly maintenance man. Only four beds were made up initially, and we later found the sofa bed bedding stored inside it. Just a few small hiccups at the start!

It's position near our family. Easy walk to transport.

The climb up the back stairs - steep and uneven. Very basic equipment. We didn't use the cooking facitlies. No coffee plunger. Rather musty, with a questionable ceiling. A double bed would have been good.

Bueno a nosotros se nos quedó justo con 2 adultos 2 niños, ademas se quejaban de que el sofá cama era muy incómodo, ahora sin duda habría escogido otro.

Hay que hacer un checkin online que fue un dolor de cabeza, no teníamos casi cobertura en el viaje y no conseguiamos subir los documentos, luego hay que aceptar dejar 100 libras de deposito, (que si nos han devuelto ) pero que si lo se elijo otro.

Location: quiet, still relatively close (1,4 km by foot) to Govan subway station. Lidl is 1 km by foot. Staff: the apartment is managed by a company called Pillow Partners who are quite professional: you have your own guest portal with all necessary information, a helpline that you can also call out of business hours in case of emergency, a dedicated contact person and so on. Self check-in and check-out, keys can be picked up and left in a lockbox, so arrival time is flexible. Apartment: we booked apartment number 2 (two-bedroom apartment, ground floor, to the right). It was spacious, had comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen and a huge TV.

It seemed like not much effort is being invested into the maintenance of the apartment: black mould in the corner of the bathtub, cracks in the ceiling, towels, toilet paper and paper towels all cheap and thin, sofa worn-out and way too soft. Separate taps for hot and cold water (except for the bathtub, luckily), but that's standard in older British flats. Messages sent by the property via booking.com are probably automated and the guests' responses not being monitored as I didn't get any reply there. When I sent an email to the property manager though, I did get a reply.
