Ferienwohnung Zwölferkante

Very close to Zugspitze with amazing view of the mountain. The apartment is spacious, clean and warmly. It has almost everything you’d need for a homestay.

nothing to be picky about

The apartment Zwölferkante is very spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. There was plenty of room for a family of three (with a lot of luggage!), the bathroom was great and large, and balcony with the view of Zugspitze was an additional highlight. The location is fantastic: a short walk to Badersee, and about 8 minutes to the center of Grainau with small shops, restaurants, train station, swimming pool and minigolf. Within 10 min by car there are several starting points for beautiful hiking tours and Eibsee can be reached by foot within 45 min. The owners of the house are very welcoming and friendly, we were offered advice on hiking routes that can be taken with a child - and were not dissapointed! We loved the place and would be happy to visit again.

Three small drawbacks, all related to the kitchen: -The lack of dishwasher is such a huge waste, of water - for the owners, and of time - for the guests. -The kitchen is large, but there was no space to actually prepare food. Additional small table would be helpful. - The kitchen utensils, esp. cutlery and pots were very old and not very well cleaned (the missing dishwasher!).

we will appreciate in future if they but some air fans will be helpful with the situation of the heat
