My Granada Garden - Catedral Lux Suite

LOVED this little apartment! The soundproof windows were amazing! So super quiet considering it’s right in the center of the Cathedral tourist traffic. The location is prime! Only one flight of wide stairs. Very quiet upstairs occupants. Super secure apartment and very safe neighborhood. The place was cozy and clean. It had everything we would need for a longer stay. Parking at the parking structure (separate cost) was close, 24 hour attendants and reasonable price considering it is a prime parking area AND you avoid all the restricted driving zones in Granada!

OMG! What's not to like? First let's talk about the location, it's right in the middle of everything, in the center of the city. There are great restaurants, great shopping, and lots of cultural sites just a few steps away. If you wanted to, you could even walk for a half hour to get to the Alhambra. Though, u wouldn't recommend it, as the Alhambra itself represents at least three hours of walking. Now, about the apartment. My wife and I really loved it. It's small but very cute and has a very efficient use of space. It's like a little treasure hunt to discover all the little built-in storage places. The windows are very high quality dual pane windows that keep out all the street noise. The air-conditioning works really well, in fact there were a couple of nights when we turned it off because we were cold. The hosts thought of everything you could need. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes. There's a Nespresso coffee maker with a few pods waiting for you when you get in, as well as some delicious tea.There is a functioning washer/dryer which came in really handy at the end of our stay. They even put in a bathroom heater (which we never used) and a heated towel rack! The tap water, which is safe to drink, is very cold, and the hot water gets very hot. Though you have to use it judiciously as the water heater is small capacity. The apartment was immaculate and they placed clear instructions for everything we could need to use (such as the washer and coffee maker.). Jose and Maria are very responsive, often replying in minutes if not immediately. We left making plans about how quickly we could return to Granada and knowing we will try to rent this place again.

The apartment was very near to the cathedral, excellent location. It is on a quiet street and has a coffee shop and small grocery nearby. The decor was very fun. Not always necessary for a rental place but made the stay enjoyable. There were excellent instructions for the washer and YES, there is a dryer! Check in instructions were easy and the host was very helpful. Definitely stay there again when in Granada.

Fabulous location, literally in the shadow of the Cathedral of Granada. Jose and Maria were extremely helpful and went above and beyond expectations to make sure we had everything and all the information needed for our stay. We would definitely return.

The location is perfect. You can easily walk everywhere and reach the center in less than 5 minutes. There was also a lot of cafes, restaurants, and a convenience store nearby. The room was great, too - very clean, spacious, and looked exactly like the photos. The room was very well-lit with windows on 3 sides. Water pressure and the hot water in the bathroom was also good (although you can't take very long showers because there is only a certain amount of hot water available before you have to wait an hour for the water to heat up again). The kitchen was equipped with a microwave and electric stove, and even a coffee maker. The host also provides basic cooking essentials and ingredients. The washing machine and dryer worked well. Wifi was fast and excellent. The room had clear instructions everywhere with photos for every appliance in the room, it made it so easy to maximize our stay. Will definitely come back!

Nothing, it was perfect. Just note that it may be difficult to leave your bags after checkout if you have extra time before you leave the city. However, the hosts were helpful and found us lockers very nearby.

The location of the apartment is pretty central to some spots of interest, the shops and restaurants. Hosts are very communicative. Thank you for the welcome snacks.

The bathroom is a big inconvenience. There was pink fungus in the bathroom and black mold at the edges. Pictures attached. I have slipped on the fungus and luckily did not fall. When one showers, water sprays all over the bathroom floor right until the hand wash basin. This is quite annoying since you get your socks and feet wet even after a long time when the floor has not dried, despite using the shower sqeegee. The toilet is also wet all over. Using the towels on the floor was not great since we just had wet towels on the floor. Neither was the water hot enough to shower, nor was there sufficient for two persons. The air conditioning takes way too long to heat the room. It was 3 degrees and the apartment does not heat up. Also, because there are notices around the apartment to switch off everything to save electricity, the heating was off through out the day. Normally, in our homes, we keep it on at a low setting since heat takes time to build up. We just were freezing for a lot of time. The bed is small for two persons to sleep in comfortably. Probably two shorter persons can, but not if you are tall. The plastic water kettle has a significant amount of salt residue in it. The noise from the street can be easily heard until late night with the windows closed. It was just a normal day and no celebrations for extra noise. Although there is not much that can be done other than fixing the shower place, the owners are very passionate about refuting negative comments. I dont care for how clean the floors or the kitchen top are. A place that is neither safe nor hygienic does not deserve a high score, neither is it worth any amount of money.
