Art Chapiz Apartments

Excellent communication from Susana pre-arrival. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was perfect for visiting The Alhambra and the restaurants and bars.

The TV and wifi were great, and the sofa and beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms were in private rooms. The host was very kind and helpful.

It took a while to walk to the central city and Alhambra, the main attraction. The stove broke while we were making soup.

This apt is in the Albaicin area of Granada, which is an enchanting, historic area right near the Alhambra. The walk from the apt to Alhambra is just 20-30 minutes or so (though down a hill, then up a huge hill but you can also take a bus). The apt is large, clean, and was great for 2 days. This is a great place to stay to visit Granada. There is also a bus into the center of the city or you can walk to it. Be sure to take a walking tour of Albaicin, fascinating part of the city.

The one thing about the Albaicin is that the streets are very narrow, making it difficult for a large car such as a SUV to maneuver through the streets. This apt includes a parking spot in a garage, and it was very difficult to get the car into it. Do not rent this apt if you intend to have a large rental car. A small car is fine, but be very careful. Be sure you have an agreement with the prop manager to open the garage door the minute you arrive as there is no place to park while waiting.

Clean and nicely set up, good amenities and size.

Only minor drawback was that hot water lasted only a few minutes at a time.

Great location.

Not quite enough hot water for everyone.
