Perfect location, nice appartement

Im Restaurant auf der Straße darunter war es abends bis spät laut. Die Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien war nur mäßig, könnte mehr sein.

The location was superb. It was extremely close to all attractions and restaurants, plus the ocean. A few stores close by for food supplies and water as the water in Sicily is NON potable. I loved that there was a washing machine and clothes rack. We sat on the balcony using the dining room chairs for our apertifs each night and after coming home at night. It was quite lovely.

While the location was fantastic there is a price to be paid for it. The garbage collection starts very early in the morning (and it's noisy) plus people stay out late at night walking, which is wonderful, but if you are a light sleeper you'll need to consider that. The steps are quite steep and narrow so if you have mobility issues or big luggage be aware. There was no pillow cases available for the extra pillows which was a problem and we didn't want to bother the host as he said he was ill. A big thing for us was the "demand" to sort and then bring everything to a recycling location. It was signed as "it is forbidden" basically not to do so. Different wording would go a long way. We did sort everything as there were several categories: paper, plastic, glass, tin/metal, organic and I think everything else. I did not know where to bring the items so hope the housekeeping staff was okay with that. When we arrived I had to sweep the floors as there was quite a bit of sand on them despite the sign asking people to keep the sand on the beach. This should be a priority for housekeeping to ensure the floors get a good sweeping and washing after each guest. These are all minor issues in themselves but when rectified will go a long way to make this property a top notch rental.

This place is great! Very clean, well designed, comfortable and probably the best of all - location!

Well if we have to find something it's time to replace the mattress in the bedroom
