The unit is lovely and well equipped. Within walking distance of the centre of town, so very conveniently located.

The unit wasn't serviced prior to our arrival, beds weren't made and bathrooms were not clean and restocked with toilet paper etc. We had to call the owner who made the necessary arrangements to have the unit cleaned. Also ran out of electricity on the pre-paid meter so had to make another phonecall to have that sorted.

Everything of the place was perfect. The view and the scenery.

Too little warm bedding on the beds and to little cushions.

I liked the modern, clean property. everything we needed was available.

theI was disappointed that after loadshedding the host wouldn’t respond to my calls or messages. There was a scheduled 2 hour loadshedding from 18:30-20:30 the Friday evening. Power went off at 18:30 and never returned. all other properties around us had power restored at 20:30. We waited until the following morning and power had still not been restored. I tried calling Eskom which conveyed that the problem must be at local municipality, so I tried to get hold of many people with no luck. There was a transformer box on the block which we had assumed had tripped. o tried to get hold of the host to see if they knew where I could report the issue and he refused to take my calls or respond to messages. We had arrived on Friday at 17:30 and since we had no power, unpacking was a challenge and our meat and fridge items were at risk of going off. The geyser also was not switched on before we arrived and therefore no hot water to shower since we arrived. I also had a sick child, which made the idea of a cold shower not so pleasant. I made friends with a property owner in the complex who conveyed that she had called some people and that there seemed to be movement. The power was restored that morning, as the switch in the transformer box had tripped. I know we live in South Africa and that loadshedding is a fact of life, I didn’t expect the host to change that, I only expected a little support to try and notify the responsible people that our switch had tripped on the locked box on the street. Besides this, the rest of the weekend was extremely pleasant and we enjoyed it thereafter.
