Top View Apt at Historical Center

The apartment was marvelous, modern, well equipped, beds very comfortable. Air conditioning was a godsend. The manager was very helpful when we had problems accessing the place because of roadworks. The double glazing and internal door cutting tge bedrooms off from the street made sleep possible through the end of year uni party season.

Road signage in Coimbra is virtually nonexistant so some way of identifying the apartment other than by the address which is written by the front door in Lilliputian size script might help. A sheet and blanket would be preferrable to the duvet provided. Would also have liked a tea towel and dishwashing detergent plus more than one washing machine pellet.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location, across the street from a park on the river, was perfect for us. We could easily walk up into the botanical garden and on to the university to see the library. The hosts were excellent and communicated well with us. There are a number of restaurants in the park across from the apartment, and many more walking down the street to the right into the older historic area. The location is perfect for a visit to the university, the library, and the gardens.

There is major roadwork in front of the apartment, but with the windows closed, we could hardly hear the noise. No work is done on weekends or at night so we could enjoy sitting on the balcony watching the sunset. I would NOT let this stop you from renting this beautiful apartment.

Fantastic apartment with lots of space that was walking distance to tourist sites

Amazing apartment in good location. Parking a plus.

Exactly like the photos, this 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom was comfortable, had a great view and included parking. There was an elevator and good AC.

While the location of this property was convenient, it wasn’t exactly close to anything. (For example it was a bit of a walk to a bakery or most of the restaurants.) That having been said, Ubers are inexpensive.

the overstuffed pillows were so uncomfortable that I slept without. bathroom is small and lacks space for toiletries.
