Apartment does not have A/C, and leaving the window open means noise and light can also enter.

Good communication with host, who allowed us an earlier check-in to accommodate our booking to see the University and library. Good location, relatively close to the university, with a good supermarket nearby. Safe (although not cheap) parking below the complex.

The apartment is very compact and a bit too small for a family of 5. The shower is over the bath, with a curtain shower - not a good experience.

Well equiped with everything we needed. Convenient location and a helpful host.

Nice apartment in the heart of the city, beautiful view , great accessibility by car (there is a big parking lot by payment just underground with elevator to the apt)

Communication on arrival was frustrating. We wasted 30 mins. Some simple instructions on where to park (name of car park ) instead of saying we are waiting for you at No 11. Not helpful when you don’t know where that is. Street parking is available (but a lottery) and due to the area, I wasn’t comfortable with leaving my car on the street. The location of the apartment wasn’t great. Run down and like a building site Parking is available but it’s a public car park and costs €13.6 overnight. The cost of the apartment was €143 which was very high considering the property and then we were asked for €2 tourist tax. No tea, coffee, water, milk was left for our arrival so had to go shopping The bathroom is very small and in need of an upgrade. Mould around the bath, a shower curtain and a rusty radiator all need replacing. Towels are very poor. Poor quality, old, stained (bleach) and very rough. Very disappointing Bedding is in need of an upgrade. Clean sheets, but blankets (are these cleaned on turn around?) pillows were memory foam and uncomfortable (in our opinion) For our visit, it was raining and cold in Coimbra. There is no hearing in the apartment, and whilst it wasn’t cold, it wasn’t comfortable in the apartment in the morning so we left early. Tv was small and old. Seating in lounge is uncomfortable (it’s a sofa bed) For 2 of us the apartment felt cramped, especially the lounge and the small bathroom). For 4 or even the 6 it would not work. There would not be enough seating in the lounge and you would need a bathroom timetable. Lastly, the price for apartment is way out. We have travelled throughout spain and Portugal and this has been one of the most expensive apartments yet sadly one of the worst in terms of what it offered and value for money.

Great location, convenient elevator to parking garage , quiet if not for on going construction.
