Maruchita's room

Julian is a great host and very approachable. The room was spacious and fully equipped. A big plus is that it has a minibar and a hot shower. The location of the apartment is super central. Highly recommended!

Excellent communication by host Julian. He was always available to address any questions or concerns. The place was very peaceful and secure. Some people commented that due to the house position they did not feel much privacy, but for us it was the opposite - we enjoyed being surrounded by other family members homes, and it gave us a sense of a real local community. Also, Julian's family were very pleasant and respectful, and it was a pleasure to interact with them. This place is excellent for independant travelers who truly appreciate learning about local culture. The internet provided worked great, and special thanks for an awesome lamp that came with several electric outlets, charging ports and cool alarm clock! It was also nice to have a small fridge and a few dishes around. The location was central and a walking distance to the lagoon and fort. We had a very comfortable stay.

There were a couple of minor issues that came up, but the host addressed them very quickly.

Bacala is a great place to visit. The room is very close to the town and the Laguna. Julian the host is always available on WhatsApp The room is very clean and I love the lamp with usb chargers.

Great location, kind people, hot water (so far the only place in Mexico with reliable hot water we found), both AC and fan work very well. In the morning you can hear the birds sing.

The pillow were quite bad, but if you do enough walking/kayaking during the day falling asleep shouldn’t be a problem:)

The room is very clean and cosy. The aircon works fine and the bed is comfy. The family is very friendly and accommodating. They give respect your privacy and will help you with any questions and enqieries you may have. It’s perfect for a couple that would like to stay near the main square close to the restaurants and lively atmphospyere. Would definitely recommend. Wi-Fi is good and there’s a fridge.
