This is a scam. Do not book this place!!!

After paying and confirming check in time of 2-3pm we had to wait 3 hours in our car outside the gate before finally receiving a message with instructions regarding the gate and keys. The contact number is non existant. By then we had already had to leave for an evening function (which is why we needed a place to shower and change in the first place!) and was promised my money back which I am still waiting for 6 days later. Owner said she had no wifi but I was told by someone on the property there is nothing in that flat anyway. So disappointing for what was meant to be a fun family night away! Never happened to me before in this app. Shame on you 9 Casablance

I absolutely loved everything about the place. The cleanliness, the comfort it provides, the privacy, the convenience of the location. It's just a walk to the Checkers Shopping Centre(less than a km). The beach is right on your doorstep indeed. For those who are joggers( like myself), the promenade by the beach is perfect for that. One of the main things that also impressed me is how well equipped the apartment was. From beach chairs and other beach equipment to crockery, cutlery, extra toilet paper( most self-caterings I've been to don't supply this), kitchen appliances. I was very impressed with that. If I find myself in Ballito again, this will definitely be on my top list! The owner is also readily available to respond to any queries you have and offers assistance until solution is found.

The stairs😅. But because of everything I loved about the place, the stairs became my friend too! I think I lost a whole kg by the time I left coz of the stairs😅😅.

Clean and functional, suitable for one night stop and go visit. On the beach which was lovely to walk along, very close to snack shack for milkshakes and close to eateries if you didn't want to cook.

Gate keypad has changed and so the instructions to enter the complex didn't match the written instructions (no longer a # symbol, but a * on the keypad). Wiring of upstairs bedrooms and bathroom lights may need an electrician to come and check as you had to push the light switches in and out multiple times to get the overhead lights to stay on. Description of multiple narrow winding staircases to access the different floors of the apartment is critical as anyone who has leg/knee problems, or is very large in body size, would have struggled to get up and down.

The accomodation was beautifully clean and very comfortable. The bedroom balcony had great sea views even though they were partial. Nice clean pool with awesome sea view. We saw both dolphins and whales.

The DSTV was not connected but we could at least watch Prime.

Great location, right on the beachfront. Easy arrival and departure from the property. The beds were very comfortable and the view was spectacular. Worth the money! Definitely planning on going back, and will stay longer because its great value for the money spent.

The showers were a bit cold after a while, however we did not mind it because it was refreshing after the beach.

The main bedroom had a bad smell, it was not cleaned properly and we had cold water for shower .The blankets had a very bad bad smell .The cockroaches are too much, definitely wouldn't recommend.

Firstly the property was so much better than I expected. The beach is quite literally at your doorstep, so very excellent for waking up to the sunrise and great because you can watch the sunset too. The house was very clean and smells good. The staircase is quite overwhelming especially for luggage. Everything worked really well, besides the tv. Would definitely recommend this place, it’s great value for money. I too plan on coming back.
