Stylish modern apartment near the city centre with nearby off-road parking

Comfy and stylish and good area and all you needed to feel like home

the property was modern plenty of plug sockets Host was good at replying to any questions prior to my stay but I have not even had a proper apology since leaving the property a day earlier than I should have as it was not fit for purpose , smell of damp got worse, heating inadequate. I’m an asthmatic I could feel my asthma getting worse which was the deciding factor for leaving the property on the Saturday afternoon I couldn’t of stayed another night, I was not willing to compromise my health.

on arrival the apartment felt warm looked just like the photos , property got colder on the Friday night with the heating on , radiators on full. condensation on windows,Smell of damp got worse, paint peeling off the shower room wall, oven had not been cleaned properly (grease still in oven tray/on oven tray rack) having to have my coat on inside the property is not how it should be. quilt on bed was not adequate for winter , blind in bedroom did not work (it’s worked by remote) was a note saying if the remote is playing up you can work it manually with the control at the top of the blind unit, fine if your 9ft tall and can reach it, I had to climb on the window ledge to reach it and it still did not work I shouldn’t of had to have climbed on anything to wind the blind back up.Two pillows inside one pillowcase..The lounge curtains were dirty not hung properly, stain on sofa. although modern it is basic, it could have been made to feel more homely with soft furnishings, ambient lighting in the lounge such as a nice side lamp, rug in the lounge as it’s laminate flooring and was cold I had two pairs of socks on, the shower was hot but the pressure was poor. extra pillows for the bed wouldn’t have gone a miss. No hot water coming through the kitchen tap on the Saturday afternoon.

Everything about this apartment was so cute. Modern appliances, comfortable bed, and the apartment was huge! Loved the decor, there was everything you needed inside the apartment.

Contacted the host for parking instructions but didn’t get a response. We did find parking nearby off one of the side streets.

Apartment was ideal for a city break. Short walk into city or down to Dock area. Comfortable facilities. Greatful for the soaps, towels, coffee and tea provided. We had a lovely weekend thank you.

The layout was good.

The sofa and bed were both quite uncomfortable. If you're staying for a weekend, it's fine, but we stayed for the week and both of us had bad backs at the end of the week. There are few kitchen utensils and oven trays to use for a weeks stay also.
