Pontcanna by Black Door Stays

An excellent location in a pleasant suburb of Cardiff, full of cafés and restaurants. Below the property there is a good bakery and coffee shop. We used local buses from a stop not far away.

We were overwhelmed by a winter-weight duvet: it was still summer and a warm weekend. The stairs up to the bedroom were narrow and steep. Despite being elderly, we managed, but others might appreciate a warning.

Location great. Comfortable. Everything you need.

The booking system was a big hassle, I received the same email over and over again, then they wanted a £250 damage deposit even though we paid with credit card

The sofa isn’t that comfortable, maybe provide a footstool

Kitchen area has lots of counter space, good range top (didn’t try to oven). Good location, near a grocery, restaurants and very nice neighborhood. Close to bus stop.

Had washer/dryer combo but not user friendly to use. Had to download instruction manual to figure it out. Chairs and sofa uncomfortable. Very small shower. Three steps to bedroom which is fine except when getting up in middle of night.
