Funchal Downtown by ALMA Holiday Rentals

Apartment had everything you needed from kitchen utensils,extra towel and bedding to pegs, bug spray,first aid kit and minute details like box of matches for lighting candles , sandwich boxes Our host was amazing ,met us there and was easy to reach for any questions you may have . In a superb location with two supermarkets a stones throw away . A lovely square to people watch just outside . The lift was quirky and ideal Keys took a while to get used to and opening the doors haha 😂 but probably due to our incompetence . Funchal you were incredible

This spacious apartment was very central with its own parking space. Cristina was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome and had excellent communication with us at all times. The apartment is fully equipped, everything you could need and more.

I couldn’t fault it.

The agent who managed the property waited at the entrance and guided us to the entrance of the underground private parking. It helped us a lot because the streets in the centre of Funchal are quite narrow.

Everything was perfect

One thing I must highlight is the location of accomodation which is really close to the city centre yet still in quite quiet part of city. Also good benefit was underground parking place, so we didn´t have to bonther with parkinbg of car.

I highly recommend it. Lots of space and light in the apartment. Very comfortable and well equipped. Cristina was a fantastic host.

The apartment is lovely and spacious, is in a very nice central location and near the bus station. Christina, the host was awesome!

There was only one bathroom and toilet. So with 4 people you had to wait to use the toilet if someone was showering.

If you enjoy being in the city center surrounded by cafés, restaurants, culture, churches...this place is for you! It is a lovely 2 bedroom/1 bath flat with comfy beds, clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen (2 coffee makers and COFFEE!), washer (with detergent), dishwasher (with pods) and a very comfortable living/dining room. Plenty of seating, good wi-fi and tv; couldn't ask for more. Bright and cheerful with plenty of windows/natural light. We would absolutely stay again, especially since Cristina is the most magnificent hostess!

Would have been nice to stay longer.

In the very center of the city, close to everything - to the market, to Rua da Santa Maria, do Se, bus stop, funicular! Cristina is very responsive and ready to help with anything! Thank You so much, Cristina!
