Residenz Sonnenhang I

Reception were extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. The location is great, beautiful position near the lake and many cafes and restaurants. Right on no. 56 bus route which we used regularly and it’s free with the city card which was a bonus. Also the washing machine was great to be able to use 👍

The bed was quite uncomfortable. Would he ok for a couple nights but as we were there for 4 nights it was not good for us. Perhaps a mattress topper would be good idea. Also there was no soap provided which is unusual, wasn’t an issue we could easily get some.

The property was wonderful and in a beautiful location. It exceeded our expectations.

We originally reserved 3 nights. Upon arrival we asked for and additional night and was told it had to be a three night minimum. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t turn our stay into 4 nights.

The location is great, room is really good, well equipped and clean. The wellness is amazing. Underground car parking is great, specially during winter.

WiFi speed and coverage are ok but is a non secure connection. Sometimes drops off and requires reconnection. 160€/week extra for a dog seems a bit excessive.

Beautiful location overlooking Hopfensee. We booked a two bedroom apartment. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher pods and washing up liquid as well as herbs and spices, a few tea bags and coffee to get you by. You could order breakfast rolls each morning too. It was much nicer than the pictures on booking.com. Free Parking garage underground. Lovely indoor pool and sauna. Balcony overlooking the lake. Directions provided to the property and how to get the key and parking instructions as we arrived after the reception closed were very helpful. English speaking staff are very helpful. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults, being our 19 and 22 year old daughters, the twin room is intended for children which you can tell from the photos; note if your kids are taller than 5'4 (1.63m) they won't fit in the beds 🙂. Stayed for 7 nights and plenty of good restaurants in walking distance.

No air-conditioning so it was a little warm but not too bad.
