Old Town Panorama Apartments

Great location, great view, quiet

No cosy light in the flat.

The location is amazing. Just in the centre of everything, close to shops, close to taxis and trains. The view from our apartment was outstanding.

The layout of the apartment worked well for us. The location was excellent and the owner was accommodating.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The apartment was very clean and was broadly as advertised. The bathroom was large and the facilities such as toilet shower and sink really good. The location was excellent, quite literally around the corner from the Old Town Square. The heating was just right. We stayed in early April and the first day was very warm weather but the following 2 days very cold. The apartment kept us warm.

We had originally booked for 4 people but 1 could not travel therefore only 3 of us stayed. For 4 people this apartment would have been much too small. I understand it is called 'cosy' and for a couple of solo traveller it would be ideal. Big for 4 adults it is simply nowhere near big enough. Luckily as we were only a party of 3, the size was just about acceptable. The attic room, although long was very difficult to move around in..the sloping walls meant that crouching and bending was the only way to avoid banging your head on the walls. The stairs to the attic were very very steep and slippy. For anybody without good balance and concentration this would be difficult and at worst dangerous. The single beds were small and for 2 adults to have stayed up there it would have been very uncomfortable. Communication with the host before arriving were fine. Responsive and clear. However when we arrived there was nobody on reception. This was understandable as it was earlier than advertised check in. No problem at all. However when we arrived later on we managed to speak to the host who asked to call back within an hour. This was despite email confirmation that we would receive a text confirming when apartment was ready. Ultimately it wasn't a massive issue as we had another apartment that friends were staying in but communication on the day of arrival was confusing. Finally the safety of the building isn't great. Front door is always open and the front door lock on our apartment did not feel very secure. Luckily Gdansk is a very safe city but nevertheless compared to other apartments this felt a little bit too easy to get in and out freely

Located right in the city center. Smooth checkin. Apartment looked exactly as shown in the photos. Clean, enough space, plenty of hot water in the shower.

We stayed there during winter and the apartment was pretty cold. However, there was an electric heater stored in the wardrobe which we didn't use. So it might have been a bit better with it.

It was a great location and easy to find. Quiet and clean The host was very responsive and helpful with his initial information which was great.

The beds were quite uncomfortable and the towels were very small

Lovely view and lovely apartment, really suggested if you are travelling with friends. Really close to the city centre so it has a perfect position and atmosphere.

The only problem is the heating system. The room was a little bit cold.
