Silverdale Apartments

A really smart newbuild 2 bed flat that was a short distance from Celtic Park. There was allocated parking. The host allowed us to check in early for a small fee. Great instructions and communication from the host.

Super clean, easy check in and great communication with the host. Beds were super comfortable. I would stay here again. Perfect location if you’re going to see a Celtic Game. Location is quiet and safe.

The location requires you to take Ubers (15 mins to center) and they provide towels, but not many. Would be better to bring some of your own with you.

Space. Good beds. Great bathroom.

1 minor item, the shower can have a plank to put your shampoo on.

The heating works well. The shower is also great. The apartment looks like on the photos, but looks are not everything. The damage deposit was paid back to us correctly and fast.

The mattress is 12cm thick, the cheapest one can find. It is also smaller than the bed frame, there is a few centimeters hole around it. The connecting plastic tape of the IKEA Luröy slatted bed base was torn to pieces, so the individual slats had to be positioned one by one by hand to avoid falling during the night. The bedrooms are too bright during the night, we had to put a blanket on the window to make it darker. The lock fell apart in the small bathroom and people were trapped inside, needed another family member to put the lock back in to get out. The table lamp had a broken plug, did not work. People can see inside the living room from the street as it is on the ground floor. We had to pay a damage deposit of GBP 250 - this was the only place this was requested from us in the UK (but it was returned in full). The owner has several similar apartments so you don't know which one you will get until the last minute - so its useless to study the photos and the reviews as they may be for another, albeit quite similar apartment. The Glasgow Celtic stadium is 200 meters away - check their webpage for loud events during your stay.

Very comfortable apartment, good location, clean, felt like at home, friendly and helpful staff 👍. Overall very satisfied, would definitely recommend it.

There was a lack of hot water,and we discovered there was a switch for it the next day. Bed slates in one of the beds came off and son fell on the ground 😀 whilst sleeping 💤. We had a problem with TV that didn't work but it was replaced straight away with a brand new.

Great location, very comfortable spacious apartment, everything you could want and more and parking included.
