The host gave me the impression that he was expecting someone else. He was talking with people outside the building as I passed him with my luggages, not knowing it was him. I then texted him that I was there when I got to the reception but he passed me again. It’s not that hard to find a guess you’re expecting if you see someone standing there or passing you with luggages. For some reasons, he also kept asking if I’m from the US even though he saw my ID. I believe this booking is better suited for locals as they seem to love the apartment. As a foreigner, I’m not used to paying cash for an accommodation. This listing seems to only be for Chileans, unless you have enough local currency or are able to transfer money from your account. I booked this last minute as I had issues with another apt so obviously I missed that part. His continence towards me changed quickly when he saw I was able to withdraw money at the atm. Overall, I don’t believe it’s worth the price I paid as I’ve been traveling all over Chile and stayed at apartments that were cheaper but with more amenities offered. Ok if you’re only using the place to sleep. The main positive is the location as it’s near the beach and where all the action is. It’s not homely ( the living room is converted to a second bedroom and doesn’t have a sofa) and the shower could use some remodeling. I only spent 2 days but most of the second day without internet and as a remote worker, I had to use up all of my mobile data to continue working. No proactive communication or compensation offered by host despite this being a listed amenity. When I let him know wifi had been out for 3 hrs, he just sent me a photo letting me know internet was down. This is one of the risks of paying cash and not using Airbnb. This would’ve been a different story on Airbnb. Now I know better.

Excelente ubicación el departamento excelente tenia de todo lo necesario negocios cerca me gusto mucho
