Gentile holiday house

We liked our stay very much. The apartment is located not by the busy street, but in a courtyard. Which makes it relatively quiet in comparison to the most locations in Catania. We arrived by car and there were plenty free parking spots just near the apartment. The place is just 10min walk from Piazza d'Uomo and most of the tourist attractions. Which makes it a perfect holiday spot. The apartment has all needed amenities. The knives could be a bit sharper, but it's nothing unusual for holidays homes. And if you miss something, there are stores just around the corner. The host is a very warm yet informative person. He introduced us to the apartment and gave some useful hints where to eat like a local. So if you're looking for a place with a great price to quality ratio, this is your spot.

The ground floor is a bit chilly, but I can imagine it's a great plus in summer (we spent our time in February). But as we just slept and ate breakfast there, it didn't bother us much 😊

Great contact with the owner. We were able to leave our bags earlier and got our keys early. The apartment is located in the old quarter of Catania close to the fish market and the Piazza Duomo - for us it was great!!!

In our opinion, the kitchen equipment needs to be upgrade.

We enjoyed our stay. All expectations met. Suoer friendly host. 2 ensuite bathrooms are really of a convenience.

One of the AC/heaters broke down, but the owner managed its fixing within an hour!

Good location, close to city center. Big living room. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. Helpful staff.

Double bed wasn't comfortable. Some things need to change in kitchen and replace with new ones and some basic things was missed.
