Apartments Nino

Nice big house, each guest rooms are located in mezzanines. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Good location to start your trip next day to Bijele Stijene but I recommend to drive until '7. kilometre' on the road to start hiking. Also good place to hide from the world for a few days.

we were bike touring and we booked for a night. The route is very steep and we took the decision to pass from there because we saw the possibility of staying at this apartment. Before starting the heaviest ascent, luckily, we decided to call to be sure there was no problem. They replied at the mobile but none of them spoke any language other than Croatian (we speak English, German, French, Italian and Spanish and we tried all of them without success). Luckily we know some keywords in Croatian and managed to tell them we booked through booking and they said that it was already full and could not accomodate us that night. I had to contact the booking assistance and, after a long wait (booking had to contact them and pass through supervisors and other stuff...) they allowed us to cancel without having to pay the penalty for late canceling (as if it was our fault). A credit of 10euros was given to us for the "trouble" but we had to lose more than 2 hours: 1 hour waiting for booking to verify our situation as the hosts were not canceling and asked us to cancel, then another hour replanning everything (we were finally forced to change our bike route). I would strongly advice to be very careful if you are in such a "delicate" situation as they will not be able to help you due to their inability to communicate with non-Croatian people.

It was very close to the start of our hike. The owners couldn’t speak English but were very welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed. Excellent value for money.

There was quite a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom, enough so that it bothered our sleep. We didn’t ask the owners about it because of the language barrier.

for the price, this is exceptional and especially the hosts were very good and kind.

Excellent property for a family or friends for 5-6 members. My comment is based on the price of the apartment. Apartment owner welcomed us with a ATV/Quads ride, friendly and supportive.

I recommend to install air conditioner or fan.

The hosts are very friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable. They gave the children rides on the ATV and helped us make a fantastic BBQ! Thank you!

The owner accepted the late night check in as we were travelling a long distance. It was good. Good value for money.
