Awesome homestay run by very friendly couple. Nice rooms and the most beautiful view of the fort you could imagine. Great food too! Highly recommended

The owner is really nice and helpful. The food is delicious.

I think that this property has such good reviews mainly because of hospitality of the owner. Rooms should be improved: there is a lot of noise coming from outside and it is hard to sleep. There is no bin in the room. Something was coming off the walls. The mattres is really hard.

The location was fantastic. Beautiful close view of the fort which could be seen from our balcony and the spacious rooftop. The property was so clean and had an amazing shower (some of the best we have had in our month in India so far) Hosts were so lovely and accommodating. Would 100% recommend as it is bang for your buck!

The host is nice. And the view is good.

Probably we were unlucky with this experience. The hallway of our room smelled really bad. The furniture was very dusty, as was the balcony. The coffee, in the breakfast, was no good. The window of bathroom, with access to the shared balcony, have no glass.

The view from the rooftop is breathtaking!!! They also serve food serve for a fair price, and they cook it from scratch when you ask for it, so it always very fresh and tasty. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable. It had a balcony with a lovely view of the neighbourhood and of the fort. The shared bathroom was very clean, way better than most bathrooms in India. It looked like a new bathroom - no mould, white walls, everything in place. The family who lives there is friendly and welcoming, especially the mom who runs the place. She speaks good English, so it's easy to communicate and interact with her. The homestay is in a local, family-oriented neighbourhood. It's like 5-10min walking to the main market. I liked seeing the kids playing cricket on the streets and the grandmas chit-chatting all day long.

The area can be noisy, but that's not their fault. When I checked-in, they asked me if I prefered the quiet room or the room with a balcony - I chose the balcony one fully aware it would be noisy.

Everything! Ilu and her husband are superb hosts. We arrived at 01.00 am after our train was delayed. Ilu stayed up and greeted us with her lovely smile and fed us a wonderful meal. The location is close to the fort( 10 mins walk up rocks from the property) and close to step well and lovely restaurants. The view from the rooftop was superb , looking up to the fort and down across the city. We would definitely return and recommend this property as a must visit.
