It was in a beautiful location looking over the harbour. A small block of apartments which was nice and quiet. Sitting on the balcony you could hear the local community which you felt a part off.

Whilst the host sends lots of messages with information a written welcome pack would have been handy to refer to, along with up to date maps, and attractions in the area.

We stayed at Droplet last year for our first visit to Malta, loved both so much we had to do it again! The location is perfect, quiet area with good views, restaurants/bars, shops and bakery. Easy walk into other areas and to the water taxi to Valletta. The apartment was clean, comfortable and a relaxing place to chill out in with a lovely view across the marina from the terrace. Had the pleasure of meeting Ivan who is a fantastic host. Very informative and helpful with providing recommendations on places to visit and to dine. Would definitely go back, again!

The apartment is in a lovely location, looking out over the harbour towards Birgu and Valletta. The terrace on the top floor is large, with a great view, but somewhat exposed on windy days. A good place to enjoy a meal, some coffee or wine on quiet days with less wind. There is a functional kitchen with enough equipment to make some hot meals, and a good dining table with comfortable chairs - both inside and out on the terrace. The washing machine is quite convenient for a longer stay, with a clothes rack to make drying quite effective. The reliable elevator makes it easy to get your luggage and other stuff up to the apartment. It is an easy walk into Birgu, where there are a number of interesting sights and good places to eat. Our host was helpful with tips on what to explore, where to eat etc. The ferry to Valletta is also conveniently close. There is a bus service to Valletta as well, number 3, just outside in the square. This uses a roundabout route, making the ferry more efficient - but the ferry service does not run after 19:00 on the "winter" schedule. If you take the bus home, make sure to get off at the Birgu / Fortini stop, with an easy walk downhill, unless you want a long detour all the way to Smart City and back. The neighbourhood is nice, with a cosy local feeling and small shops / snack bars. No supermarket, but David the baker next door is quite convenient for essentials like very good local bread, water and some breakfast supplies - ham, cheese and milk. A little further, you can shop at M.A.L.S. for more variety of goods. We really enjoyed our stay, making excursions to Birgu, Senglea, Valletta, Mdina and Rabat, Hagar Qim and Marsaxlokk. The place is quiet at night (more so, I would guess, than in Valletta or other more central locations), so we always had a good night's sleep.

Nothing to complain about, really. There was a slight problem to get into the apartment, but this was quickly fixed through contact with the host. I replaced the shower gel, which seemed to be beyond its "best before"-date, hopefully this will be of use to future dwellers. Water pressure in the shower is not very strong, but there was no shortage of hot water. Flushing in the upstairs toilet was also a bit erratic, but always worked in the end - after pushing the button a couple of times.
