I have arrived the property late afternoon, followed the instructions and the key box was empty. Then I called the property on booking.com contact number - no response, messaged them on the app - no response, finally called booking and they told me to wait half an hour to cancel the reservation. When I decided to record a video showing the empty key box, I noticed two more telephone numbers (my weak German) that I called and responded immediately. The story ended happily with additional favors provided by the host; however, the rooms need some renovation and communication needs to improve. The number registered on Booking should be up to date. Fortunately, it was summertime and still bright, I wouldn't like to wait there, in front of the building for 1 hour with my family at night.

The coffee and local wine were very welcoming. The view of Ehrenbreitstein across the Rhine was nice. A nice quiet neighbourhood and an easy walk to the centre.

Nothing really. It was everything I required.

The keys were easy to find and the rooms were clean

When we got into the apartment it smelled extremely unpleasant so we had to ventilate it first. We don't know if it smelled smoke or old. That's why the first impression wasn't so good.

The apartment was spacious, comfy, and well equipped.

The location is quite far from the city center.

Nothing at all. I felt very uncomfortable.

It’s located in a very dark neighborhood, there’s nothing around but apartments. The building is very old and smells like mold and dust, the walls are dirty and it looks it’s been some years since they don’t paint. In the apartment, there was mold in the shower, the couch was all peeled off and curtains were smelling like dust and mold, they were definitely not washed for a long time. In the bedroom there is no mattress, is a sponge so forget of resting. Definitely it’s overpriced. I regret not using airbnb.
