We had some issues with bedding.Bed linen was dirty and a lot of hair ,some stains,no smell like it washed and cleaned..We contact to landlord but she was far away to fix it our issues and she told that her cleaner changed bedding but we done some photos to prove with it was dirty with stains and plenty someone hair.She promise sort out us but not happened.I just really don't understand cleaner who works for private apartment,you get paid well but even it is clean or after laundry service how you can put for guests so dirty bedding,you didn't notice it was plenty of hair and some strange stains,even under mattress protector?It not high standards.We just take off bedding and sleep without but any way felling was that don't catch any skin deases or bugs.Lanlord as well offer some discount but never back .Even she didn't check up WhatsApp photos and no response.

Our host Monica is very helpful and kind person. She provided us personally with keys and short instruction. There was a little fuss with a parking spot due to water supply failure, but they have another garage, not so far away. Apartment is situated in the heart of the city in a tenement house, very close to the main street- Hlavna, that is pedestrian zone. Apartment has all necessary fixture.

Modern and clean, especially the kitchen (I moved the rug to look for something and it was dirty underneath)

Shower- every 3 seconds it went from cool to lukewarm and back again. Exterior- pitch black, rough loose stones , gravel and potholes. NO EXTERIOR LIGHTING AT ALL! The light-switch to go up the steps (spiral style, very difficult) DOES NOT WORK!! I do not recommend it for people with mobility issues or young children.

I can't speak highly enough of Monar - the location is a 2-minute walk to the centre, and unusually offers ample protected parking in its courtyard. The apartment itself is in a nondescript building (see photo) but its interior is a whole different story - recently tastefully renovated, comfortable, full facilities, fast wifi, and if that's not enough, pet-friendly too. Surely there's not a more tranquil place to stay in Kosice! And I want to also take a moment to thank the owner, M., for being an outstanding host who helped me tremendously with a vehicle problem and its spinoff. M's English is perfect, by the way. For people who like their early morning coffee - exit through the pedestrian entrance, turn right, and Matin is maybe 50 m down the street on the right. It opens at 07:30.

Nothing that I didn't like, per se, however the pull-out couch bed, which is comfortable, might be even more comfortable if it would also have a good pillow and a top sheet / comforter.

- Proximity to the city center (literally 3 minutes away from the old town and cathedral) - Silence and safety - Modern furniture and amenities - Very nice host and was there to greet us for the check-in

- unfortunately, we didn't know how to use the vertical air conditioner, I advise next guests to ask the host for instructions - sadly, no mosquito net in the windows
