Onside parking. Big apartment with everything we needed. Close for a walk downtown. Very cool place to stay.

It was easy to access. Nicely furnished for the 2 of us.

The instructions to access our part of the house were a little unclear

The coffee pods were great. Parking was good. Lots of space. Beds were very comfortable. Just as expected. No surprises. That’s good.

Nothing.

Beware: this is a basement. A very low and noisy, uninsulated basement. This is not indicated in the ad and the host did not warn us beforehand - why? How sneaky. This unit is NOT suitable to be rented out as an airbnb or anything like that. All 4 of us are over 5’11” and could not stand up straight. If we had known that it is a basement, we would never have booked it. We never book basements. The irony was as well that we were told to be quiet while it were the guests upstairs who were extremely noisy - talking loudly, stamping, dropping things and they had THREE dogs. They left at 4:30 in the morning… Also, the beds squeak like crazy. And every night at 5 some sort of heating unit turns on right next to the bedroom - OMG. There were earplugs all over the place, which is so crazy as it indicates that the host knows how noisy it is!!! We didn’t sleep for 2 nights. Host never appeared to apologize, unbelievable, what kind of host is that?

A great place to stay and great value for money!

The quiet neighborhood had close access to lovely walks on the university campus, a nearby park with a pond, and a good coffee shop (Turtle Rock). Even an easy walk for us to the historic downtown area. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a good kitchen. The owner was responsive.

There was no soap for the shower, so we bought some of our own. No big deal, but it was a last minute discovery that we needed some. I probably could have contacted the owner for some earlier. They said their cleaners don't always let them know when things are out of stock. Also, the driveway entrance has a sharp dip that our rental car had some trouble negotiating without scraping.
