Casa Perla

Abbiamo passato 3 notti a casa perla come gruppo di amiche e ci siamo trovate molto bene. La casa è molto pulita e presenta tutti i servizi necessari, siamo rimaste piacevolmente sorprese. La proprietaria è stata molto disponibile e gentile, venendo incontro anche alla nostra richiesta di possibilità di anticipare il check-in. Ci ha inoltre rivolto una calorosa accoglienza con una bottiglia di prosecco super gradita. Non ci sono i condizionatori ma avendo soggiornato a giugno ed essendoci 2 ventilatori da terra nelle camere principali non abbiamo avuto problemi! La possibilità di parcheggio direttamente sotto casa è stata decisamente un punto a favore e super comodo essendo l'abitazione leggermente in alto rispetto al livello del mare. Quest'ultimo punto è stato tuttavia apprezzato per la vista offerta dal balconcino, che ci ha accompagnate durante tutta la vacanza! Per arrivare al mare c'è una discesa pedonale fatta di circa 150 gradoni che permette di sbucare direttamente dall'altra parte della strada rispetto all'entrata per la spiaggia, molto comoda e apprezzata! Grazie alla proprietaria e a questa casa ci siamo godute al meglio il nostro soggiorno: super consigliato!

Superfijne woning op een geweldige locatie. Je wordt hartelijk ontvangen door Michela en dan begint een heel fijn verblijf. De trap naar de zee is geweldig (al heb je wel een beetje conditie nodig). Je bent vlakbij Sestri Levanti, Cinque Terra kan je makkelijk bezoeken met de trein. Het was fantastisch!! Bedankt Michela!

The apartment is spacious and very comfortable for families, with separate bedrooms and plenty of room overall. The interior creates the feeling of staying in a traditional Italian family home rather than in a generic rental apartment, which gives the place a lot of character and atmosphere. The sea view is beautiful. You can both see and hear the sea from the apartment, and there is a small balcony where it is very pleasant to sit in good weather, enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine, and relax while listening to the waves. The balcony is small and most comfortable for two people, but the atmosphere is wonderful. A nice surprise was a bottle of good prosecco left by the host upon arrival. The beach is actually easy to reach - around 5–6 minutes on foot. The path is a bit steep, but Google Maps does not clearly show the underpass beneath the railway, so at first it may seem like you need to make a large detour to reach the sea. In reality, the walk is much shorter and more convenient.

The access roads to the apartment are extremely narrow. If you have a longer car, such as an Audi A4, passing other vehicles and parking can be stressful. The parking spaces are also very tight, and because of the surrounding bushes it is difficult to fully open the doors and comfortably get out of the car. Communication with the host was difficult because she only speaks Italian. There were many verbal explanations during check-in, but it was almost impossible for foreign guests to understand everything. Written instructions in several languages would make the experience much easier. The Wi-Fi connection is very weak. There is a repeater installed, but it only works properly within about a meter of it, and the signal disappears quickly when moving to another part of the apartment. The apartment contains a lot of decorative items. At first it feels charming and authentic, but after some time the amount of decoration becomes slightly overwhelming and not always practical. The kitchen and the balcony are located in different parts of the apartment, so if you want to eat outside you constantly need to carry food and dishes back and forth through the apartment. It is not really a problem that can be changed, but it is useful for future guests to know. Sound insulation is also not great. In the evenings and late at night we could hear a TV from neighboring apartments, which disturbed sleep a little. We stayed in May, and during the nights the apartment became quite cold. The floor was also very cold, and walking barefoot was uncomfortable. During the hot summer months this may actually be a benefit, but in cooler weather it is noticeable. The doors inside the apartment are very squeaky, especially at night when someone moves around while others are sleeping.

Casa accogliente tutto molto ordinato e pulito vista sul mare in zona molto tranquilla… peccato aver passato una sola notte. Grazie
