Die Lage war perfekt für uns.

Die Wohnung war sauber und hell. Die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte reibungslos. Eine Frage an den Vermieter wurde schnell beantwortet. Für unsere Zwecke hatte die Wohnung die perfekte Lage. Restaurants und Bäcker, sowie Supermarkt sind fußläufig und schnell zu erreichen. Anbindung an Bahn und Bus ist nah. Parkmöglichkeiten sind an der Strasse und waren auch vorhanden.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr minimalistisch. Es gibt eine Pad-Maschine, eine Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Getränkekühlschrank und eine Herdplatte. Geschirr fanden wir, (die Wohnung ist für 4 Personen ausgelegt) eher knapp. Wenn man nur mal 2 Nächte bucht ist das vielleicht ok, aber länger eher schwierig in der Küche. Es ist ja eine Ferienwohnung. Fernsehen sollte man auch nicht zu viel erwarten. Wir hatten tolles Wetter - Glück gehabt. Die Wohnung ist unter dem Dach, bei offenen Fenstern hört man den Strassenlärm schon, ist aber auszuhalten.

Eine modern eingerichtete Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Die Gastgeberin ist jederzeit zu erreichen und freundlich. Der Check In/Out ist einfach und unproblematisch. Die Lage ist prima. Alles was man braucht ist zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Die Möglichkeiten zum Parken sind sehr begrenzt. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Unterkunft eine kostenpflichtige Parkfläche, die bei einem längeren Aufenthalt entsprechend kostet. Der Preis ist, aus unserer Sicht, zu teuer für einen Schotter und "Rasenparkplatz". Die Parkplatz-App ist einfach bedienbar.

Abgewohnte Innenausstattung

Das wir für die Kinder jeweils ein eigenes Zimmer hatten. Die Sofas im Wohnzimmer konnte man zu einem großen Doppelbett zusammen stellen. Es war wirklich angenehm viel Platz.

The only issue we had was that we were not able to connect to the WiFi, but we weren't there a lot so it wasn't a big deal

Pick up of the keys at the petrol station was easy, and we found the accommodation without a problem. We managed to park for free close to the flat The flat is on the top (4th) floor with no lift. There is a microwave but no oven and a fridge without a freezer compartment. Looks more like a beer/wine fridge. The flat was clean and comfortable (beds and shower were good), and the surrounding area was quiet at night. We walked into Leipzig which took about 40 minutes and caught the tram back. The flat is a couple of minutes from the tramp stop. Leipzig is a lovely city and was worth a visit.

Instructions on how to get to the entrance of the flat once through the main gate would have been helpful. Limited instructions on waste disposal. We did not know that Leipzig was a LEZ (low emission zone) city. Our navigation pointed this out when we set off. We luckily found a place selling the green LEZ stickers just over the border in Aachen, which closed at midday. You can order the stickers on line a few weeks before you leave.

Location is good and easy access to public transport

The rooms were not really set up for 5 guests. The sofa bed was not made up. As other guests have mentioned so I was aware at time of booking, only dining seats for 4; and there are literally no large pots so you can’t cook things like pasta.
