Great apartment with everything you need. Great location, except it's a busy area .

EVERYTHING!!! This apartment is in a good location to the center of Livorno. The host, Marco, is the nicest man you'll ever meet. He is hard working, ambitious, and one of the most hospitable people you'll ever meet. Having two complete bedrooms is wonderful, when wanting space. There are high ceilings, so you don't feel as though you are closed in. The bedroom windows both have bug screens, which is a lovely surprise, if you like fresh air at night, but are not a fan of bugs or mosquitoes. BOTH bedrooms have televisions, nightstands, double/queen sized beds, and dressers. The bathroom is good size, with both toilet, nice sized shower, sink, etc. The host has it set up where they have a hairdryer, hair straightener and even baby wipes for those with little ones. This apartment has a beautiful view from the bedroom windows to a plaza square, and it literally right next to a very convenient bus stop and tabaco store (for purchasing bus tickets and miscellaneous items). Close bus trip to the central train station, and just a 17 minute train ride to Pisa. Marco had a nice selection of breakfast items (packaged breads, croissants, jams), milks, fresh fruit, coffee pods, nice tea selections, bottled water, tissues and a surprise bottle of wine. Remarkably, there were items offered that are gluten free and dairy free. After traveling in many countries, staying at AirBNB's, VRBO, HomeAway and Booking.Com apartments, DueEmme Lodge has COMPLETELY spoiled us! Marco and his family have a beautiful apartment, set up with everything that one could need. He truly goes above and beyond! Most places, at best, will have a bottle of water, or two, and maybe a bottle of wine for the guests. We were completely astonished with how well set-up DueEmme Lodge was. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

There were a couple days where the weather wasn't the nicest, but nothing to do with DueEmme. As far as the apartment goes, the WiFi isn't super strong, but not that big of a deal, considering we didn't plan to stay in our rooms all day long. :)

Fabulous apartment - absolutely immaculate. Lovely owner Marco who gave very good advice and booked a restaurant for us. Huge airy rooms with very comfy beds. Well stocked fridge with Prosecco, meats, cheeses, yoghurts etc. Very easy for walking Livorno.

Everything was great from start to finish. A brilliant welcome and so well furnished. The breakfast treats and bottle of prosecco were an added bonus! Will definitely recommend to others!

Very friendly and warm welcome. Perfect located and calm.

The host was very friendly. We arrived by ferry from Corsica, but we were delayed for over an hour. This was no problem, because the host lived next door. It was also amazing how clean the appartment was. The location was perfect; at only 10 minutes from the ferry (by car). A paid parking was very close by. The host thought about everything. We travelled with a young child and the host offered a baby-bed and highchair. There were also some childbooks present. The fridge was filled with a beer, water, yoghurt, cheese and fresh fruits. For breakfast, there was a variety of sweet breads, cereals, milk (also lactose-free), toast, marmelade and good coffee (nespresso). Thank you!!

We only stayed for 1 night and did not experience any issues with the facilities. In fact, we got more than we hoped for. If we would have stayed longer, then we would have probably missed a seating area were we can comfortably relax.

Never seen such a clean place

Great location, most hospitable host I have ever come across. Excellent facilities and the best stocked kitchen with food galore and coffee! (No expense spared!). I truly recommend this place as its a 2 bedroom place and plenty of room for eveb 2 couples. The wine in the fridge qas a nice touch. All up very thoughtful and considered approach to hosting. I was very impressed. Also, very quiet so I finally had the sleep I needed after touring across Italy for 4 months. Definitely the best place I've stayed at!
