Johny's Spot in Larnaca

A lovely compact studio with a bed niche. It was very quiet and peaceful for sleeping. The kitchen was welle quilt with everything. A small balcony with table and chairs. If you stand on your toes you could see the sea.

Poor hot water, with a small electric heater in the shower. Difficult to regulate, and the water was either extremely hot at first, then alternated between Luke warm and cold. There was no hot water at the bathroom sink. In the kitchen a separate hot water mit at the sink did not work, so no hot water to wash up. No dustpan to sweep up properly, and the sofa in the laundry bing area was a bit small and quite low to the ground. The immediate area seemed a bit dodgy, but a block beyond was fine. Dispute these minor issues. I would book again.

Cozy apartment, even if it’s just a studio it’s well designed and put together to create a feeling of it being bigger than what it is 😊 Feels very fresh, stylish and clean! There was coffee, sugar and pepper, but no salt - so I guess what’s there it’s nothing the host fills up and just what’s left from previous guest..

The bed is typical Cypriot bed where you can feel the springs through the mattress.. 🙃 Shower head is not giving basically no stream or pressure, and even having the water heater on for 1h before showering it doesn’t create ANY hot water, makes it pretty hard to wash your hair as a female. I saw another review mentioned the same thing back in March, but nothing have been done about it.. 🙃 maybe it’s just the water pressure from the building but the shower head was definitely not the newest. The first day I did let the host know that the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. They told me they would fix it asap and that if I’m leaving the apartment during the day I should leave the key in the lockbox so a cleaner could come in to fill up the soap. For obvious reasons I’m not comfortable with someone entering the apartment with all my belongs in it when I’m not there. A soap bottle etc could just been left outside the door or in the mailbox, or a cleaner could have knocked on the door to come and fill it up. But didn’t happen during my 7 days stay. The security deposit is 300€, which I completely understand the purpose of, but I think it’s extremely high price (normally places charge a 100€ deposit, or not at all). Even if the deposit will be reimbursed it’s still a big chunk of money being held up. Definitely something to have in mind for renting this place. Due to the high deposit I will personally try to avoid renting from this company again (even if they have a lot of very nice looking apartments in Larnaca). 🙃

The appartment is old and dusty,wasn't clean enough .Curtains and pillows shoud be better maintained . The matrress is horrible,uncomfortable and old full of spings that you feel and hear while getting on and offthe bed. The location although is good ,the surroundings is horrible. No offense to anyone but if you don't want to spend your holiday in Pakistan or Nigeria... The host is rude,it takes so long to reply, "local host " is everything but the local host! The company that collects the payment in advance is litteraly taking your money by force-if you don't give them 300€ in advance you won't be able to get the instructions how to enter,then it takes days after checking out to get your money back . Scam! If I knew this I'd never book this appartment. I've stayed in Larnaca 6,7 times ntil now,and never had this experience of paying a "safety deposit" in advance. Althought I understand the purpose of it,the was of taking money from the customer is really embarassing.

Excellent apartment, perfect location by the beach and bus stops as well as town centre, nice surprise to find well stocked with oil, ice cubes, salt and pepper, coffee etc. :)

Shower pressure low and hot water temperamental.
