Mara

Mara Apartment was a lovely surprise – sparkling clean, cosy, and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked (even with coffee and cream), the bathroom was beautiful and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable with warm quilts. Although compact, the apartment is very well laid out – ideal for solo travellers or couples. The location is quiet and convenient, with a bus stop just a short walk away. The bus takes only 15 minutes to reach the historic old town with its charming gates and canals. Two supermarkets are also within walking distance. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like a city map and brochures with local tips. Rasa, the host, was incredibly kind, easy to reach, and even helped us In short – a perfect place to stay in Lübeck. Highly recommended!

Sparkling clean and very comfortable apartment with exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Beautiful bathroom with a large shower. Bed is very comfortable with good warm quilts. Location is good for access to the old town with 12th century gates, waterways. The bus to visit the old town is a short walk from the apartment and takes only 15 mins to arrive in the centre of the old town. Everything about Mara apartment is pleasant and we found it a perfect place to stay.

The apartment is comfortable and has everything that is needed to make an uncomplicated meal.The owner of the property is very nice and helpful. We asked for the use of an iron, which was provided. There is no ironing board, though. This was not an issue for someone with years of practice.

We were on the ground floor. The building has wooden floors and no sound insulation. We had 5 nights, which were comfortable apart from 1 night when the neighbours were not quiet when walking around . The city of Lubeck does not really offer much, and two days is more than enough time to see the sights. Everything is very tourist oriented.

Everything great

It was all very clean. Kitchen was completely equipped with pots, utensils, cuttlery, even coffee and cream. The apartment was renovated and although small, had everything one might need. Perfect for solo or couple travelling. The host is also very kind and easily contacted.

The family is very friendly. You can use bikes, for free, to go to the centre.
