Tilly's a perfect apartment in the Market Town of Ledbury

It was a lovely quirky apartment on top of an olde worlde wine shop. Pubs in area were so friendly and proper characteristic pubs. Right outside the door.

It could have been warmer. In all fairness I did leave a window open inadvertently because I didn’t know it was previously open until much later. The host did respond to our request to make it warmer. We didn’t want to mess their heating timers up. It would get warmer but kept reverting back to 16 degrees. Too cold for me.

This lovely apartment is in a central yet quiet location. I was travelling alone at short notice and felt very safe and secure here. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and I mean spotless! Comfortable, good quality furnishings with an excellent bed. The kitchen had washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob and microwave! I particularly liked the large warm bathroom which had a good sized shower and a bath which was a blissful treat. I appreciated the fruit basket and biscuits which were in the kitchen. I loved it so much that I made a return booking.

The location was superb. I visited with my brother who cannot walk long distances due to a disability. Everything we needed and more was within a very short walk from the apartment. The apartment itself was very well equipped. There was milk in the fridge and biscuits and fruit on the counter top. The bathroom was superb and the bedroom beautifully presented. The sofa bed in the main living room was very useful for me as I wanted my brother to have the bedroom and the lovely squishy double size bed. On arrival the owner had set the kitchen for an evening meal which was a lovely touch. The apartment was warm and cosy and very quiet despite the heavy rain thrashing down outside. The owners also run the wine shop below the apartment which was paradise for any wine connoisseur and sitting near the doorway of the shop is the most adorable, super soft white retriever doggy, very friendly and a joy to see each day. If you are looking for a peaceful, private and comfortable break within a shoppers paradise town, steeped in history with fabulous restaurants and an abundance of beautiful places to visit nearby, I would highly recommend staying at Tilly’s

Nothing not to like. I was concerned about the stairs running up to the apartment because my brother does have a leg disability and a heart problem but the stairs are solid with excellent handrails and he only went up or down them once a day. They didn’t seem to bother him too much.

Difficult to get to flat, too many stairs in flat for pensioners, up stairs from bedroom to bathroom
