Villa SCIROCCO Madeira - Ocean View

Great pleace to stay close to the airport. Parking spot available and not very hard to park, which is quite a challange in Funchal. Nice and clean rooms, kitchen avaiable, nice view from the balcony to the end of the runway in the Funchal airport. Litterally 5 minutes drive to the airport, so perfect spot for the first or last night on Madeira.

All good, nothingh to complain about.

War alles super. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und haben uns Tipps gegeben und sogar Wäsche gewaschen. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Abends wirds es recht kühl (Januar), aber es sind Decken und ein kleiner elektrischer Heizkörper da. Sehr gute Lage für viele Wanderungen und Strände.

Widok na wschody słońca oraz startujące i lądujące samoloty. Dużo przestrzeni. Dwie toalety. Spokojna okolica.

The property sits in front of the ocean with a balcony. You can see the sunrise and the beautiful streets of Machico. It was a perfect location and not far from major cities. The drive to the villa is simple and is near a few restaurants and the supermarket. The villa had everything we needed and was perfect for a mother-daughter stay. The host was so kind and generous during our time in Machico. The host was communicative and made sure our stay was as nice as possible.

Nothing bad to say, it was all great!!

Check-in instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I arrived in the evening and had no trouble finding the key, even in the dark. The host stopped by to welcome me a bit after I arrived as well! The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with pots, pans, dishware, etc. Washer and drying rack were great to have access to! It was about a 20 minute walk (albeit a hilly one) to Machico, and multiple bus stops nearby went right to the middle of the town. Bathroom was clean and had a lovely showerhead!

There was some noise between other families nearby, the mechanic next door, and proximity to the airport. Nothing terribly disruptive, but not a silent vacation retreat.
