Villa SCIROCCO Madeira - Ocean View

The location was a large apartment with a balcony and spacious clean rooms. There was a private terrace upstairs on the roof which was very enjoyable to sit on in sunny weather. It was 15 minutes walk from a supermarket which is very handy if you are self catering. It was a 40 minute walk to Machico and the beach and near a bus stop. The kitchen had a nice cooker and equipment for cooking.

The automatic system to deal with booking and checking in did not seem to work for me. I was meant to check in on line but could not. The Host Vlad sorted it out for us. The automatic on line system consisted of a VIRTUAL human being called 'Alfred'. Alfred was rubbish as he did not respond to my emails and, it is much better to have a real human being for communication and problem solving. Vlad was very helpful.

Amazing stay, cool views at the airport, super comfy beds and stylish decorations. I appreciated the free parking at the property and also a great host!

Super apartment! Everything is new, comfortable, clean and cosy. Own parking is nearby the apartment. Spectacular sea view, we enjoyed with sunrise! The owner (Dana) was very friendly and explained all the details about the apartment and surroundings. We stayed in December and for us it was important that the apartment has electrical radiators for heating that you can manage inside temperature yourself. Highly recommend this nice place!

Superb location, with nice ocean view, close to the supermarket and beaches, with onsite parking included. Bus stop just out of the house. The rooms are spacious and clean. Internet is fast and works. The host is very helpful and friendly.

Not much to say. All was good. we enjoyed a relax holiday. Just a side note, the roads in Madeira are steep, if you rent a car, choose more powerful engine and automatic gearbox. Public transport is also available.

Helpful owner, and a spacious, well equiped place.

We spent a night at Villa Scirocco right before our flight. The apartment is located very close to the airport and offers wonderful views. It was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen and I found it to be very quiet at night too, in fact we had a great sleep. On arrival we met the host and for a series of circumstances we were given a larger apartment than the one we initially booked which was amazing. The host himself is very kind and welcoming and the communication even before arriving was great too. There is also a comfortable parking space just in front of the apartments. Overall we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend Villa Scirocco as a place to stay in Madeira.
