The City Apartment

Location, short walk to centre. Attention to detail in the apartment-extras such as water, orange juice, biscuits, pasta etc provided. Very well equipped, utensils etc. Communication excellent-issues dealt with expeditiously.

No ‘don’t likes’ but worth knowing for older people like ourselves that the apartment is up A flight of 20 stairs. Good, wide stairs with a substantial handrail on one side. I really need 2 but used my stick which sufficed. There is also a step into the bathroom which is fine but I needed to use one of the dining chairs as a handrail for that. Not an issue - just to be aware. We would have liked some instructions for the aircon as we managed to stop it working twice 🤷‍♀️- second time not long before we’re leaving so it didn’t matter. And a plug for the kitchen sink would be good - though we managed without. I would have to say a ‘don’t like’ was the road noise … sometimes we couldn’t hear ourselves speak unfortunately and it went on long into the night. I guess that’s the price paid for the location.

Very helpful owner, close to the centre. I arrived in the evening, so the water, milk and lemonade in the fridge came in very handy, as well as sweets on the table.

Excellent location,close to city amenities/beaches. Spotless. Friendly staff, happy do give any information wanted.

Can be a little noisy with traffic passing, and a microwave oven would be incredibly useful 👍
