Borghese Apartment

Great stay in Locarno. Calm neighborhood, would stay again in the Borghese department.

Flat is charming and very well equipped. Patrizio & Natascia were exceptional supportive and helpful.

The location is great, it's only a few hundred metres from the Piazza Grande, and within walking distance of the train station. In a few steps, you are in the hearto of the vecchia città. There is a great bakery/patisserie 100 metres away, with a terrace in the square where the church is. The flat has lots of information of what to do in Ticino, where to eat, etc. The price is very reasonable for Switzerland.

There is nothing to object to, except maybe the traffic in the morning, but there were earbuds available. It didn't bother me at all. I would definitely choose this flat again, I hope to return.

An excellent location - just 10 min from the city centre and 5 min to high quality restaurants. Apartment is in the middle of the old city to make a pleasant walk in the evening time. There are nearby parking lots. Good opportunities for breakfast - either a fancy patisserie around the corner or a shop to buy cheese and ham to have breakfast at facility. Coffee and tea in the apartment with small chocolates as bonus. The house owner was very friendly, helped us with accommodations, advised what to see in vicinity. When we requested bath accessories (shampoo, body soap), he brought them within hour or so.

Bath accessories are not available (we learned that it was considered as normal - mindset is that people bring them from home, but this was not our case).

Excellent location. Small but comfortable. Clean & modern layout. Well supplied.

No oven.

Conveniently located apartment, easy access. Practical separate bedroom, sofacouch/TV living-room and kitchen room. Nice bathroom, everything clean and tidy. Basics provided such as olive oil, salt&pepper, kitchen cloths, etc which is really helpful.

This can happen but the smartTV was very dark in a corner and needs to be replaced (but Patrizio said he would pick this up asap). Also we found both the sofabed and main bed quite squeaky and the (2x2m?) blanket too small for 2 people. We needed earplugs+closed windows as the cars on the cobblestone road where loud just beneath the bedroom window.
