Beach Splendor @ 24 La Crete Sands

Well I commucated with Mervin after paying for accommodation we never met but the way he kept checking on us it was amazing hope to meet him one day then on our arrival we found a humble security he escorted us to our room and helped with the bags then Mr Steven the manager wow need I say less La Crete sands is amazing everything about it is superb I loved everything and I definitely going to come back I think I have found my second holiday destination in margate much love keep the place the way it is thanks.

The place could do with a heater or electric blankets. At night the bed is freezing cold in Winter

We loved everything about the apartment, the cleanliness, attention to detail, the view and the fact that it was such a peaceful and serene place. We loved and enjoyed our stay. The owners made sure everything was taken care of, constantly checking up on us to make sure we're happy with everything. The place was in immaculate condition, absolutely beautiful. This is the only place I would be booking in for my stay down South❤️🙌

We were met by a person who handed over the keys. He then showed us around and where everything was, which was fantastic.

Nice apartment with great sea views. It has most of what you will need for a short visit. Key collection was smooth and Steven was available to let us into the apartment. There are solar (loadshedding) lights in every room that is a nice touch and will be great for any power disruptions. The apartment has a TV with a streambox, so easy to load any of your favourite streaming services. It was quite and peaceful.

The garage parking is very tight, and a struggle with larger SUV vehicles. There is an oven and stovetop, but the oven has been disabled, making it tricky for self-catering purposes. Check-out wasn't as easy, as we wanted to leave very early. I was told that security will open the gate, but they were nowhere to be found.

Steven, the caretaker, was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for him—he was always available, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed. His friendly and professional attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. The unit itself was amazing—spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a stunning view over the ocean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing that could have made it even better was an air conditioner. The unit does have fans, which are usually sufficient, but during the heat wave when we visited, they didn’t provide enough relief. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!
