The view was the only thing good about the unit

The host is not a friendly person. The unit had sooo much issues yoh. The pictures vss what we experienced was so different. I messaged Penny and she called me. I listed the issues i picked up and told her i want to leave the unit and must get a refund as the unit was not what we seen on the pictures. She advised she will get back to me. She then messaged me to tell me that the owner refuses to give my money back!?. She then got Robert (building manager) to come help. He then came the next day and i shared the details with him, 1. The front door does not lock only the gate locks? 2. The linen did not look like it was changed in a very long time and there was a comforter from 1981 on the bed. 3. The bath had stains in it and the kids refused to take a bath in it as it looked so bad 4. The fan was so rusted we were afraid to even put it on. The next morning, we tried to make toast bread and the toaster caught on fire. I had to take it to the balcony and put the fire off. I called Robert again and he came an replaced it. Penny had not show any hospitality with all of the issues we faced

The view.

There was no electricity for about a day on arrival. No air-conditioning. The fridge wasn't working properly. The constant crowd noise and screaming from the street and beach made it hard to relax.

I paid more than R12k I expected everything to be worth the price
