Devine Stay- Margate

The cleaner was extremely friendly, the house itself is okay.

Once you step outside, the yard is not dog safe at all, the yard was littered with trash. There is an open sewage pipe attracting flies, and there were random blowflies on the property too. Constant smell of rotting fruit came from the neighbors, and the neighbors did not stop bothering us. On the last day of our stay, the neighbors also allowed random people on the yard and in the house. We wish it could have been a better experience.

The house didnt have a garage for the car and the surrounding area is dirty and you wouldnt be able to say its a place for bookings

For breakfast we drove to the nearest mall around and the Margate beach is also just around the corner. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming.

The house is clean and it met my expectations. I'm happy with Devine stay. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place of vacation.

The inside of the house looks fine. It is actually in a good condition.

The lawn was not mowed. The shower curtains are dirty. No aircon in the house. We arrived very late at the property and got a key from the neighbours. We were expecting the people to show up the next morning just to take stock of what is in the house, but that didn't happen. We enquired about the sound bar that was not charged and the oven that we could not operate but there was no help regarding that. We ended up taking the speaker to town for charging and did not return it to the house. On the day of checking out sent a message to say we are leaving, and they should send someone but it took a bit of time and we agreed that we should just leave the keys and not lock. We got a call about the sound bar, that it is missing and we indicated that we are still within the area, and we will come back and check and also check in the car. Minutes later got a message showing a broken foot of the couch which we were not aware off. We returned and searched for the sound bar which we found in the car and gave back. We were also shown the broken couch which we disputed. The owner sent a message saying that he will keep the deposit because of the broken couch foot, and we told him that if he were to fix it, it will not cost a R 1000. The problem is that we together with the owners never checked on arrival of what is broken and what is not. Now i have to pay for something which could have been broken before my arrival and also he is now quite about how much the cost of repair is. N
